About Me
Meet the Counselor:
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Rochelle McCray-Anderson, helps clients resolve challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, and suicidal ideation through connecting with their strengths.
Since I was a child, I have always been willing and eager to simply, "help someone" whether it be a friend, family member, the community, or a stranger. I always seemed to be at the right place at the right time. As the warm, fuzzy feelings of helping others grew I knew that this is what I wanted to do as a profession. With my own personal experiences and challenges throughout life I was also sure I wanted to support my community.

How I practice:
My approach to therapy is to practice from a person-centered perspective, meaning I collaborate with you in a non-judgmental way, respecting that you are the expert on your life. Together, we will work towards increasing/improving coping skills, setting goals, and accomplishing them in a way that best meets your needs.

How I may help you:
I would like to partner with you by providing a safe environment for you to overcome your past struggles and present barriers. I will walk alongside you on your journey to finding a more fulfilling, peaceful and joyful life as well as healthy relationships. My goal is to help you to create the life you were meant to live.

My education, experience, & community engagement:
I have over 12 years of experience working in the Human Service and Mental Health field: counseling, clinical case management, speaker, coaching, consulting and substance abuse counseling.
